INSTALLATION HELP
Ask it to help you install CUP, one step at a time.
I want to install CUP on my Mac with Docker Desktop. Ask for the Mac model or chip (Apple silicon or Intel), macOS version, whether Docker Desktop is installed, and whether its engine is running. Guide me through downloading and extracting the CUP archive, launching start-cup.command, keeping the suggested port and local address, and finishing setup in the browser. Official CUP guide : https://cup-studio.com/en/instal/mac/ Guide me in plain English, one step at a time, and wait for my reply before continuing. Use the CUP guide and official documentation; do not guess menus, commands or compatibility. If information is missing, say so and help me verify it. Security: never ask me for a password, activation code, licence serial number, key or token. I will enter licence details only in the official CUP installer. Do not suggest commands that erase, reset or replace data. Explain the effect of any command that changes the system and wait for my approval before asking me to run it. Do not expose sensitive services to the Internet. Ask me to hide personal information in screenshots and error messages. Start by asking the first question needed for this guide.
Never share your NAS password or licence code/serial number with an AI.
Download the version for your Mac (Apple silicon or Intel). Open the downloaded file and move Docker to Applications. Confirm the app launch the first time.
Download Docker Desktop for Mac (Apple silicon or Intel) ↗Read and accept Docker’s terms if you agree. On the welcome screen, choose Skip to start without an account. Wait until Docker says the engine is running.
To use an external drive, open Docker Desktop → Settings → Resources → Advanced, choose the disk image location, then apply and restart. Keep the drive connected. Do not move Docker.raw in Finder. Skip this step if internal storage is fine.
Download the archive, then double-click it to extract it. Open the extracted docker folder.
Open start-cup.command. If macOS asks for confirmation, allow it to open. Press Enter to keep port 8080, then open the local address shown in your browser.
Fill in the form with the email linked to the licence, the serial number you received and the owner account login details. Start the installation once and keep the tab open until it confirms completion.
The version shown in the screenshot is an example. If email two-step verification is offered, configure email delivery in CUP first so you can receive the code.
